ABOUT

Welcome to the site of the South African American Bully Camp.

We distinguish ourselves from the other South African breeders in that:

We do not in-breed or line-breed as 25 years’ in the dog game tells us that this causes unacceptable and untold health complications. Don’t believe the bull-shit hype fed to you by other kennels, they’re mixing the same blood because multi imported dogs are a massive investment. “Buddy, would you have babies with your mama or your sister?” Well neither can bullies, the research is as plain-as-day. Ever heard of autosomal recessive conditions such as reduced litter sizes, increased puppy mortality, reduced fertility, shorter lifespans, cleft palates, cardiomyopathy, continuous secondary infections and primarily auto-immune conditions? Yes, there is a place for this but are those dogs hipped, heart, ED or DNA tested?

If we import because of a particular sought after inbred bloodline, we ensure that their ancestors are of an advanced age and still alive.

SA Bully Camp owns ten world-class stud dogs, allowing us to be selective in pairing our females for health and type.

There is no local blood in our dogs, we only stock directly imported dogs or their offspring.

Pups off Imported Bloodlines vs. Pups off Local South African Bloodlines

The imported bully has a different head structure, his/her chest will be wider and lower to the ground, shoulders will be packed with extreme mass, the dog will carry an excess of  mass in all areas of its body, commencing with a neck as wide as its head bulging out into its shoulders and along the rest of its body. To be entirely frank most owners of local dogs meeting an imported dog for the first time are usually very despondent about their dogs thereafter.  The quality of a locally bred dog vs an imported dog is very dramatic.

No kennel locally has expended anywhere near the amount of money or imported as many world class dogs as we have.

Importing a quality Bully from trusted international breeders costs anywhere between USD 10 000 and USD 30 000 and their offspring are subsequently highly sought after, the value of our puppies reflect the quality of the imported dogs.

Our clients source us because of our reputation within the international bully community and the subsequent quality of our pups. Locally one can buy bullies from R15 000 to R120 000.
